No announcement about an Italian edition of Fullmetal Panic! Another Sigma manga series, sequel of Fullmetal Panic! Another, has been done yet, so here's no information about it yet.
In this topic I've collected information about the series while tankōbon have been published by Italian editor Planet Manga, about every two months.
Keep in mind that the title フルメタル・パニック! should be Fullmetal Panic! in Latin script, but even the Japanese publisher chose Full Metal Panic! and so FMP! is the acronym. About the spin-off instead the publisher chose the correct transliteration: フルメタル・パニック!アナザーbecomes Fullmetal Panic! Another in latin script and the acronym is FP!A.Novel series

Hints to Full Metal Panic!
First of all a brief overview on the light novel series the manga is an adaptation of.
Fullmetal Panic! Another is a science fiction and military action light novel series by Naoto Ōguro with draft and under supervision of Shōji Gatō, author of Full Metal Panic! light novel series, with character design by Shiki Dōji (as in FMP!), mecha design by Kanetake Ebikawa and Toshiaki Ihara, serialised in Dragon Magazine and published under Fujimi Fantasia Bunko imprint of Fujimi Shobō editor from August 2011 to February 2016. FP!A is Gatō's 1998-2011 work FMP! spin-off with new characters, mecha and setting and it keeps some of the old characters. Fifth bunkobon was released both in standard and special edition, the latter with a different cover and bundled with ROBOT Tamashii Blaze Raven 2 action figure. Ninth and thirteenth volumes are short stories collections. Little is known about World Vehicle Challenger published in Fujimi Fantasia Bunko 25th anniversary printing.
Manga adaptation of Fullmetal Panic! Another is composed of two manga series by Yō Taichi with support of Ōguro, Gatō, Dōji, Ebikawa and Ihara (for Shadow and Daidara design respectively). The first one, named as the novel series, began serialization on 2011 2nd issue of Newtype Ace magazine (October 2011), when the magazine was ceased it moved to Kadokawa Niconico Ace magazine from 2014 147th issue becoming a monthly publication, until its conclusion in September 2014. Six tankōbon have been published under Kadokawa Comics Ace label (Kadokawa Shoten publishing company) between March 2012 and August 2014. The second manga series, named Fullmetal Panic! Another Sigma, began serialization on 2014 156th issue of Niconico Ace, later replaced by the internet site Niconico Seiga and two tankōbon have been published under the same label as of November 2015.
Let's start with information about the characters.
Tatsuya Ichinose, nicknamed Bon by his acquaintance, is a Japanese senior high school student at Jindai High who pilots Power Slave since elementary school. He succeeds in study but prefers to work in his family-run business instead of attending university since he's attached to it and wants to help. The relationship with his father is a little conflicting but they respect each other, he is very protective toward his little sister. He is subject to the appeal of mature foreign women with whom he falls in love instantly. He is a recruit of D.O.M.S. with call sign Oshira-4 and AS-01 Blaze Raven, whose IA (artificial intelligence) name's Gosh, is committed to him.
Adelina Aleksandrovna Kerenskaya, Lina for short, is a young girl and D.O.M.S. Arm Slave pilot with call sign Oshira-3 at first, then this call sign is assigned to a comrade. She as born in Russia and in her past she fought in Urals so she has been a child soldier. She's very keen on AS and when appointed to train Tatsuya in fight and AS operation tries to make him learning information about them in addition to drive them. Since her outstanding fighting ability she's a significant member of D.O.M.S. therefore she attends its major officers like Douglas Baxter and Bernard Bertrand. She usually wears alluring suits provided by Melissa Mao but she seems unaware of her look.
Clara Mao is the young son of Melissa Mao, she's quite braggart and rude and she usually wears lolita dresses. Her body is really tiny nevertheless she can shoulder sniper rifles easily, she's an incredible sniper and a member of D.O.M.S. where she fight by the side of experienced soldiers, her call sign is Oshira-3.
Melissa Mao is the president of D.O.M.S. (Dana O'Shee Military Service), a private military company established in 2001, equipped with an extended and vanguard armoury which mainly perform training session for AS pilots of the biggest armies all over the world. She firmly manage her company and choose only the strongest people to employ. She travels a lot because of her business.
Douglas “Doug” Baxter, a tall and sinewy dark-skinned man, is the captain of D.O.M.S. AS Instructor Division's third squad and Mao's closest subordinate. He's Lina's superior and his call sign is Oshira-1. He has risked his life in some battlefields in Belize and western Sahara desert. Expert and strict at work, he is also a good-fellowship man.
Bernard Bertrand is a member of Tactical Analysis Division at D.O.M.S. who usually follow Baxter, being his subordinate. Really devoted to his work, he is a calm person who shows really few aspects of his personality and doesn't like wagers.
Katsurō Mizorogi is the odd developer of Blaze Raven project, a young man with an obsession with rock music.
Carlos Mendoza is an instructor of the third squad, he's a former Colombian Army soldier, a playboy to a certain extent, has a numerous family and his call sign's Oshira-2.
Yusuf bin Muhammad bin Karim Al Kaytry is the crown prince of Kingdom of Rashid in south west Saudi Arabia. He pilots a Shadow and a Wolf unit (he owns eight of the latter) equipped with weapons specifically designed to appear magnificent. Being his country in good relationship with Japan since its foundation Yusuf speaks Japanese language. When he joins D.O.M.S. call sign Oshira-5 is assigned to him.
Captain Hassam is Yusuf's tutor and his wife has been his baby sitter. Hassam is also an AS pilot.
Samira bint Hassam is Hassam's daughter and Yusuf's personal waitress, she's also an AS pilot.
Kurz Weber is Clara Mao's father, born from him and Melissa Mao. He is an impressive sniper who was part of Mithril under Melissa's command in FMP! story. His daughter is really attached to him and it seems that he hasn't a job at the moment.
Colonel Shimomura is a member of Japanese Army military staff. A serious injury caused by a terrorist attack involving an AS prevented him to become the AS pilot he aspired to. He feels an intense competitiveness toward D.O.M.S. whom he consider a valuable opponent.
Kikuno Sanjō and her younger brother Akira are a couple of siblings working for terrorist Stefan Illich Mikhailov *, nicknamed Stenka by the girl, in a plan against Mao's company. The both pilots AS and while Akira is quite calm his sister is more lively and absolutely crazy.

Yukari Ichinose Tatsuya's younger sister. She is really affectionate toward his brother and strict to the father, who loves her anyway, since she dresses the part of the missing mother in dealing with financial difficulties of the family. Her father, owner of the small Ichinose Construction firm, is a quite grumpy and very sinewy man. He frequently argues with Tatsuya but he really loves his sons.
Kaede Makishima is an old friend of Tatsuya whom she calls Takkun. Seeing Lina's figure at school, even if she doesn't show it off, she perceive a feeling of challenge and while hanging out with Clara and Lina seeing the ignorance of Japanese manner of the latter begin to teach her immediately. She has a strong bond with her classmate Kenji Takemura who is fond of video games and is a member of rugby and cultural club at school.
Kotaro “Onodi” Onodera is geography teacher at Tokyo Municipal Jindai High School, he's thirty-year-old, married and has two children. In FMP! he was an odd classmate of Kaname Chidori and Sōsuke Sagara.
Then some information about Arm Slaves.
Since the setting is 2011, ten years after FMP! end, world power now deploy third generation AS, like M9 for USA armed forces. D.O.M.S. deploy both second and third generation AS: French heavy armoured Mistral 2, German Drake, British Cyclone (first seen in FMP!), Soviet Rk-91M, Japanese Type 96 Kai and American M6A2E2 Bushmaster (designed by Kanetake Ebikawa for FP!A) as second generation units, Soviet Zy-99M Shadow, American M9A1 Armored Gerns (designed by Kanetake Ebikawa) and M9A2 Gernsback Enhanced, an extremely innovative unit equipped with a gun in its abdomen and some cold weapon, as third generation units.
M6A2E2 Bushmaster is heavily armed and works as supporting unit, Type 96 Kai is an upgrade of Type 96 and Zy-99M is a downgrade of Zy-99. The code name Shadow has been introduced in the West. Among the new units there are Rk-02 Scepter which differ from other third generation units for its great firepower and heavy armour to the detriment of agility and stealth capacity, also thanks to its Gadyuka (viper in Russian language) system its arms can be equipped with huge mechanic fangs; Wolf designed by Yō, another third generation unit produced in Germany at high cost, it's equipped with a thick armour and Yusuf's unit has cloak which defends it from HEAT (high explosive anti tank) bullets and a horn, it's a unit easy to pilot but lacks of energetic autonomy and it's hard to equip it properly; M9A1E1 Arsenal, an M9 unit armed with a high precision long range cannon (Yō designed a system to soften the recoil) and an UAV command interface; and finally Arcenciel, a French third generation AS successor of Mistral 2 armed with four firearm.
But the main unit of FP!A is AS-1 Blaze Raven, the first third generation Japanese unit armed with a big monomolecular cutter shaped as a traditional Japanese sword and equipped with a couple of Agile Thruster (controlled through his mind by the pilot) on its shoulder which gives him the ability to fluctuate in the air, it's the only unit capable of flying. It is also equipped with Dragon Fly.
In addition to AS, smaller anthropomorphous robots for assisting men in their work have been developed. They are called Power Slave and japanese Daidara units employed in civil constructions by Ichinose firm and American APE E-50 units are a good example.

In summer 2011 in Japan, ten years after end of FMP!, a senior student at Jindai High named Tatsuya Ichinose, waking up from an off-color dream on the school desk has a meeting with prof. Onodera about his future plan: he's joining his family-run business, a construction enterprise employing Power Slave.
In a military base in northern Kanto lieutenant Sano and Japanese Army military staff colonel Shimomura receive the members of a private military company called D.O.M.S. arrived in Japan to train JA AS pilot. Captain Douglas Baxter, his subordinate Bernard Bertrand and the young pilot of a Zy-99M Shadow AS Adelina Aleksandrovna Kerenskaya unload their vehicles from the cargo.
Ichinose firm is working at the street near Hokuriku while D.O.M.S. convoy go off road nearby, so Lina ask them to borrow a PS to catch up her vehicle but Tatsuya denies it and offers to do it himself instead overcoming her persistence and his apprehension against her foreign girl appeal. While Lina congratulate him without realizing her unkindness, Tatsuya accidentally see what the load of her vehicle is, an Arm Slave! Receiving a bunch of boring information about the machine as a reply to his question “Why do you carry such a weapon?” he insists to obtain the wanted answer but what he gets is the brief story of a certain PMC called D.O.M.S. which train AS pilot all over the world. Surrendered to the fact he'll never have his answer Tatsuya quits the conversation making Lina confused and worried about his feedback and the convoy leave again.
At JA Hokuriku military base Doug and Bernard are waiting Lina's arrival for another training session since last time she heavily defeated JA pilots. This time Lina will engage three Type 96 Kai led by lieutenant Sano at the same time being hers Karamazof a Shadow, which is a third generation AS. In no time two of three opponents are hit with pain bullet and while Lina get ready to engage Sano unexpectedly one opponent attack her breaking the rules furthermore shooting real bullets! His teammate try to stop him but can't do it and Lina is in danger. Doug flares up against Shimomura but it is useless since this isn't an order of the colonel and there aren't units equipped with real ammo to stop him. Meanwhile the pilot escape and Lina pursuits him. He chance upon Ichinose construction site and opens fire injuring the worker and damaging their equipment so Tatsuya try to engage it with a Daidara but Lina intervene immediately and he soldier runs away. Unfortunately her wounds is serious and she can't resume the pursuit therefore Tatsuya insists to borrow her unit since the pilot is headed towards the hot spring in which his sister has gone shortly before. Lina set up his unit for him and Tatsuya leave: thanks to his ability he can control the unit. An helicopter carrying Doug, Bernard and Shimomura reach the construction site, rescue Lina and bear to the hot spring. Once there they can't help but watch over at a distance since they don't have weapons. Lina observe Tatsuya closely since she's impressed by his word before and Bernard notice his great sense of balance in driving the machine. Thanks to his determination and remembering a past experience on board of a Daidara Tatsuya finally overcame his enemy.
Put through lots of questioning by authorities Tatsuya finally has a talk with D.O.M.S. president Melissa Mao which ask him to be his employee. She manage to persuade him mainly with the fee she propose, which will ease Ichinose firm waiting for reparation from JA but maybe her lure as mature foreign woman helped too.
Along the whole volume are scattered brief messages of incitement addressed to Yō Taichi by the rest of the staff and to the readers. There's also some illustration of the new model of AS introduced in FP!A.
The volume ends with a nice chapter in which the staff is portrayed as Arm Slaves, PS or Bonta Kun at work in editorial office.

At D.O.M.S. base near Sierra Nevada in California Tatsuya is undergoing Lina's tough military training. He is the only boy between the recruits and is mocked for his young age but he already has made friends with Daniela, an attendant at the base. While he is training with rifle a young girl wearing lolita dress named Clara intervene and humiliate him with his outstanding capabilities as sniper. Lina tries very hard to train him at best nevertheless she doesn't feel up to the coach Mao told her about. After one month of training a test to evaluate Tatsuya's ability is scheduled. Meanwhile Yukari joined D.O.M.S. as cook and soon she gets involved in a bet regarding his brother's test result. In his exam Tatsuya square off Carlos, a soldier with much more experience, but unexpectedly he defeats him becoming the fourth member of Oshira team, Clara is the third, Carlos the second and Doug the first. Then Tatsuya finds out Melissa is Clara's mother and his love is spoiled again.
Tatsuya's first mission is a training session for the army of Kingdom of Rashid in south west of Saudi Arabia led by prince Yusuf with a Zy-99. During the dispute Tatsuya lost his focus and hinder his team.
In Musashino a Japanese parliamentarian named Daiki Kirigaya meets Shimomura, they both keep an eye on D.O.M.S. activities and the official informs the politicians that the pilot of the Hokuriku, still unconscious after the battle with Tatsuya, was discovered to be drugged and his real ammo are part of an illicit batch from Egypt but is unknown whom it belongs to. Kirigaya came here to see the AS-1, the first third generation AS produced in Japan under the supervision of the colonel and with the authorization of some politicians. Shimomura expect it to be employed by JA to fight back foreign threats but the politician wants to offer it to D.O.M.S. causing the aversion of the colonel which however goes unheeded. The name of the unit is replaced with Blaze Raven to avoid problems more easily.
The volume ends with a chapter in which about the realization of the drawings in which Taichi portrays himself as a Daidara, Ebikawa as the ARX-8 Laevatein and Ōguro and Gatō as Bonta Kuns.

During a training for armed forces in the Kingdom of Rashid Tatsuya accidentally breaks the rule of engagement exposing the prince to serious risk and then quarrels over it with him during a meeting so the company decide to send him back to Japan, even if he's not fired and Lina rebukes him about his mistake telling him about a similar accident happened in her past when she was part of Caucasian militia. Tatsuya is downhearted about this and Lina notice she's taking Tatsuya into account way too much. However relations between the Kingdom and the company are still good, since prince Yusuf pays for Tatsuya's first class ticket to fly back to homeland and has decided to train hardly and then challenge back Tatsuya. Meanwhile a couple of young siblings land in Japan.
While Tatsuya is welcomed by his childhood friend Kaede Makishima and his schoolmate Kenji Takemura Lina and Clara suddenly appear at school. Astonished Tatsuya takes them aside to know the cause of their presence here: they came here because he wasn't available at phone. But they are stopped by his couple of friends and Yukari (who has leaved her tomboy attitude since has met Clara, beginning to stalk her with snuggles) so they are introduced each other. Then they hang out all together to have lunch and to have some fun and Tatsuya finds out the two girls are staying at his home for the night since Lina hasn't arranged for a proper accommodation. At a recreation room Lina plays with an war simulator involving AS and is challenged by the girl recently landed to Japan and loose against her. She then introduce herself to Lina and whisper her a threatening sentence and goes away, leaving Lina in confusion: they seem to have already met in the past. After dinner at Ichinose home Tatsuya catch up with Lina on the roof: she's wearing a splendid kimono and thanks him for the peaceful times spent together.
The following day Kikuno and Akira, the two siblings, inform a man named Stefan that the plan against D.O.M.S. is going ahead and that members of the company are heading to Musashino to receive an arm slave from Yebisu Heavy Industires. There Tatsuya, Lina and Clara are introduced to Katsurō Mizorogi, the chief of AS-1 Blaze Raven development project. Meanwhile in a military base in northern Kanto Baxter, Bernard and Mendoza meet the minister Kirigaya who offer them the Blaze Raven in order to test its capabilities. He the guarantee no information about it will leak and even if it will happen it won't be a scandal since officially AS-1 isn't an arm slave since it isn't provided with any kind of weapon. Following Hokuriku accident the development of Japanese units is at risk since the public opinion is worried about that kind of weapons and Japanese Army is already buying American M9 units made by Geotron therefore the time available to complete the Blaze Raven is really short. Baxter accept the proposal and D.O.M.S. leaves for the U.S. with AS-1 and a couple of Shadow carried by two helicopters. But when they're near a city on american ground one aircraft is attacked and fall to the ground without destroying. Carlos and Lina land with their Shadow to rescue their fellows and protect the AS-1 but they are engaged by Sanjō siblings and their Rk-02 Scepter. During the fight Tatsuya has a flashback and Lina notice she has already seen the way the enemies drive their arm slaves. When she's about to being defeated by Kikuno she's rescued by Blaze Raven driven by distance by Mizorogi. Tatsuya is asked to pilot that unit and fight back the enemies. After a difficult fight he manage to defeat the two siblings and while Kikuno comes out form her AS Lina, who finally recognized her, tries to catch her but fails and the two escape after having noticed Tatsuya was the pilot of Blaze Raven. Tatsuya and his fellows retire instead chase the runaway couple because they receive an urgent order from Melissa. This event has really upset Lina.
In this volume there's a couple of rows from the novel which tells about the first encounter between Clara and Yukari and a frame of the lunch with Lina, Clara, Yukari, Tatsuya and his schoolmates. In addition there's a few speech from Yō Taichi about the drawing of new mecha of FP!A and the preview of the next volume. In the end there's another short chapter with Taichi portrayed as a Daidara who tells about his work and Tatsuya who complain for not being included on the cover of the tankōbon.

Akira Sanjō informs Stefan by phone, who's going to shoot a target with his rifle, that they failed the mission but he isn't upset, then Kikuno enthusiastically tells him the whole thing and says that... she's fallen in love.
Melissa Mao on the telephone comments with Douglas Baxter the murder of Geotron Electronics CEO Cunningham, due to Mikhailov in Lina's view and Doug expresses his worries about the younger elements of his team: since Los Angeles event Lina is anxious and this nullify the synergy with Tatsuya; furthermore since then Melissa demand that Clara is less associated with military environment. Tatsuya while in a hangar observing the new AS unit has a strange feeling but he decides it's simply due to the recent events. Meanwhile Yusuf and two companion land with their AS on the base of D.O.M.S. showing off a perfect formation: Yusuf is taking a training session at their base to grant his father's wish. The prince behaves respectfully towards everyone except for Tatsuya who is forced by Doug to show Yusuf the base, with the latter humiliating Tatsuya in every activity they launch in during the tour. The prince is really fond of every military aspect, sure enough he's aware of Maurits System, which is a simulation system realized by D.O.M.S. to do military training evading the costs of maintenance due to damage suffered during training with ammo: it consists of a laser beam thrown by a device on the gun barrel which analyses the enemy unit and supply information, damages suffered, movement and tactic advises. Then Yusuf and Tatsuya attend Lina's test: she faces three M9 equipped with Maurits System driving AS-1. She's secretly in a competition with Tatsuya since he defeated two Scepter in LA event all by himself.
In Kirigaya's office Shimomura comments the classified information of Cunningham being murdered at request of Geotron's top brass since for personal ambition he caused Hokuriku and L.A. events. Kirigaya intend do take advantage of this information having some debts toward the company and tells Shimomura the pan about D.O.M.S. is going ahead.
While looking at hers good performance results Lina is thoughtful: she can't understand how Tatsuya could drive Blaze Raven in such a way against Sanjō brothers. Is this somehow related to his strange flashback during that event (maybe this is the first clue of Lambda Driver in this series)? Mendoza talks about the tests with Tatsuya: the AS-1 isn't a common unit since even experienced pilots couldn't handle Agile Thruster properly; except for Lina and Tatsuya, the younger pilots. While his team is building a personal residence in the base, Yusuf meditate in the upper floor of the dorm, which has been converted in a luxurious apartment: actually he decided to leave his country against Hassam's will when he was defeated by Tatsuya, losing his self-confidence acquired through competences he pursued with dedication. Doug make Tatsuya bring Yusuf his training plan and there Samira makes him eavesdrop a talk between the prince and Hassam so he learns Yusuf's state of mind and they settle decide to settle the whole thing once and for all with an AS confrontation. In this occasion Melissa comes back to the base and before the match Lina does a bad wish against Tatsuya instead of a good one: seems she's really opposed to him. Tatsuya manages to hinder Yusuf but being determined to win back his honour the prince finally win the fight, raising Melissa's interest. Finally Tatsuya acknowledge his defeat and Lina seems relieved. Then Mizorogi analising Lina's, Yusuf's and Tatsuya's battle data and neglecting advises of Doug and Bernard assigns the AS-1 to Tatsuya since in challenges and real operations he performs better, even if in training he is quite mediocre.
Tatsuya goes back to Japan to attend school and invites Lina to visit the cultural festival of his school, where he plays the role of Momotarō in an English language recital with his friends Kenji and Kaede. Unexpectedly Lina arrives at the school with Clara, Yusuf, Samira and Hassam so Tatsuya shows them the festival and Lina participate in some activities. Then Kaede catch up with them to greet Lina and introduce to Tatsuya the person who's taking the place of an injured person in the play... it Kikuno Sanjō! She starts to flirt with Tatsuya and tease Lina and then show them a remote control saying she's arranged some fireworks in the school. Then, since Lina speaks english fluently, Kaede ask her to take part in the recital to replace another person injured and Tatsuya convince her since she can control Kikuno this way: in fact they both suspect Kikuno was alluding to bombs earlier. The play ends up in comedy when Tatsuya seeing the alluring ogres outfits of Lina and Kikuno is driven out of his mind. Then in the restrooms Kikuno provokes Lina, activate the remote control which lights the fire at school and escape on an super bike driven by Akira, who scold her for exposing themself so much without reaching anything. But she replies that she has some a about Tatsuya and she has decided to whom she will give herself. Tatsuya excuses towards Lina for his behaviour but she expels him brutally then she says him to thanks Kaede in her place for the fun she has had at the festival and to check an email sent by Mizoroghi. It says that Blaze Raven has been assigned to him and he has to come back to the base immediately for a meeting with Yebisu staff about the Raven and a secret shipment: an AS unit similar to Blaze Raven and coloured in red assigned to Lina. Before leaving Japan Tatsuya talks about Lina's reaction with Kenji, so now he knows partially his friend's business.
In this volume too there are comments of Yō about arm slaves and preview of next volume: D.O.M.S. against Malanpa dictatorship in Africa and the appearance of a terrorist AS. At the end there's another brief chapter in which Yō tells that he has had a discussion about his work with Toujou Chika, author of the story in the manga Code Geass: Oz the Reflection.

During a training in the use of Maurits System between Tatsuya and Lina driving Blaze Raven and Blast Raven respectively, she annoyed for his bad score and mad at him for being assigned first unit in her place goes crazy and attacks him with her sword, after deactivating the remote control operated by Baxter and Bernard on her unit. Mizorogi gets excited since he'll collect data from a close to real fight and Baxter let her do as she wants but send Yusuf and his two mates there for preventing Tatsuya risking his life. During the fight Lina tells Tatsuya that her feeling is due to him having made her lost her confidence thus making her suffer so she hates him now. However Tatsuya wins the fight and reaches her on the shoulder of her AS to talk, she then falls and he throw himself down to protect her with his pilot suit since she doesn't wears one. On the ground she asks him why on hearth he's abandoned his homeland, family and friends and he hesitantly replies maybe he did it to follow her. Lina, lacking the affection in her childhood having been a baby soldier, is caught off guard by his reply and they almost kiss but they got interrupted by Yusuf who is quickly taken away by Samira and Hassam. Now Lina is calm and tells Tatsuya that his usual training is starting again tomorrow.
In another place on the Earth Sanjō siblings having destroyed some enemies are reached by Mikhailov and are notified of the imminent restart of fights in a certain region; Kikuno knows she will find Tatsuya and Lina there and is really excited.
With a flash back we get to know that three years ago in Malampa Bernard, then captain of French army, hired a local service person named Mohammed to investigate on a coup d'etat. Having accepted the task Mohammed invited Bernard to leave the country but he refused since he's lived there when he was a child with him and his sister Sara. Then Bernard leaved the room and Mohammed shot him being involved in the affair, Bernard fought back wounding him to death and Sara got there before his brother expired begging Bernard not to let Sara know of the affair. The civil war in Malampa began after cold war ended which has been followed by lots of conflict of different intensity in various parts of the world. In such a background ASes became essential and despite of global disarmament is underway Geotron Electronics, which created Arm Slaves, carries on the war trade, thus several PMC spread all over the world to sedate the conflicts.
At Mabulu mine, in the western Malampa Republic, Sanjō siblings kills rebel party soldiers and Kikuno is euphoric knowing soon Tatsuya will come there, infact D.O.M.S. lands at international airport in the capital Koido. During dumping operations Yusuf explains to Tatsuya that Malampa is full of mining resources owned by the clan of president Makeni Kallon, chief of a military group that makes business in military trade since the independency of the country. But wealth isn't shared with the population so people living in misery started a civil war and the president hired D.O.M.S. to train his soldier against the rebel party. Baxter tell the third squad that they have just been urgently called by the president so they leave to meet him; during the travel Tatsuya is shocked by the misery of the country and Lina tells him to mind only his own business in order to don't distract himself.
The president, old and ill unlike he is portrayed, tells the squad he has hired them not only to be able to fight the rebel party but also to deal with Russian and American forces who wants to have some leverage on the country. To achieve this he wants to join all the African armed forces forces but his speech is interrupted by the arrival of commander of 101th company, major Sara Samura, which is the elite of Malampa army and will be trained by them. Seeing the beautiful commander Tatsuya excites and is quickly rebuked by Lina who, after looking at her scornfully, leaves the room; then Sara glances at Bernard and lives too. In the first training the four pilot of third squad faces two Mistral II units and two Arcenciel ones, which is third generation AS. Sara's team his defeated and she accepts honourably the defeat; before leaving she talks with Bernard and the two of them are seen by Tatsuya. The following day Lina breaks the schedule and goes to the city with Tatsuya to make him relax, but warns him not peek at Bernard's affair. While buying trinkets Lina is shocked to see Mikhailov between the crowd so order Tatsuya to return immediately to the base and she follows the terrorist. When she reaches him she threatens him with a gun and asks why six years ago when she was a young terrorist and was chased by Russian army he killed everyone except for her. Then Lina notices she's under rifle range and Stefan before leaving tells her to forgot about the past and that he sparing her life was only a tantrum. But then Tatsuya arrives and seeing her holding a gun and being under rifle range tries to shot at the man but he's blocked by the fear of his gaze. Mikhailov approaches him and intimate to leave the country with Lina but the guys replies that he has a mission to accomplish so the man leaves while grinning. Meanwhile at the Aenaux military base at the edge of the city Yusuf and Barnard talks about Malanpa: Bernard lived there because his father was an acquaintance of some old members of the old government so he has worked as a diplomat there for about a decade. The prince then asks Bernard if he thinks that the president is willing to attack someone instead of being able to simply defend himself but they are interrupt by Carlos who warns them to attend an urgent briefing since Lina and Tatsuya encountered a dangerous terrorist. After the briefing Yusuf and Tatsuya head to dormitory and the latter falls asleep while thinking about his encounter with Mikhailov and wondering how Lina knows him. In the middle of the night they are woken up by a fight burst in the military base, even in the city there is disorder. Yusuf saves Tatsuya from the bullets of a Savage which is destroyed by Baxter's Shadow and the two of them head to the city with their Wolf and Raven, Bernard guide the third squad on the battlefield of the military base and the city simultaneously. Before leaving for the city with third squad Sara tells Bernard that a relevant decision about her country has been chosen. During the fight in the city Sara tells Tatsuya she's a childhood friend of Bernard. Meanwhile Mikhailov orders Sanjō siblings to leave the city which they're destroying with their Scepter units in five minutes, but Kikuno bumps into Lina and engages her so Stefan drive his unknown AS to accomplish his mission concerning Sara. Mikhailov catch the allied team with his Electronic Conceal System and kills Samura enraging Tatsuya who fights him and cuts off an arm from his enemy's unit but gets damaged and his Raven stops; so Stefan runs away to avoid enemies gather information on his AS after making the guy recognize him. Yusuf save Tatsuya smashing a Savage that was going to hit Tatsuya killing an enemy for the first time and Bernard assists Sara who expire in his arms after expressing her regret for being unable to free his country from foreign influences.
Yusuf got upset following the fight and calls Samira to comfort him after having meditated alone, Tatsuya upset for being unable to save Sara is consoled by Lina. Mikhailov calls someone to tell him they can't exploit the president anymore so they have to make the government change. Bernard gather the third squad and convince Baxter to tell them the truth: they have been secretly hired by USA ad not by president Kallon. Their duty was to back up the coup d'etate organized by Sara with the support of USA which would have gained access to the mining resources of Malampa. However rebelled party with French support moved up. Tatsuya gets mad at all of this and the death of Sara and Lina calms him down telling him that this is simply their work and they aren't responsible of her death.
Between the chapters of the volume there are a brief introduction of the main characters, some drawing of them made with white ink on black background and at the end of the tankoubon there's a short chapter in which several character complain about not beeing on the cover of the volume and Yō Taichi shows us his tools for drawing and reminds us that serialization of the manga in Japan has been shifted from Newtype Ace to Niconico Ace.

Some time has passed since the last mission and Tatsuya has come back to Japan, but when Clara leaves her home he reaches Texas to find her, following Melissa's orders. Soon they find Clara and Tatsuya meets Kurz Weber, Clara's father. After being involved in a conflict about a land including an oilfield, in which they drove American power slaves, Lina is informed that Melissa has been involved in an assassination attempt.
Due to this occurrence D.O.M.S. faces difficulties and Mizorogi secretly incite Tatsuya to become a test pilot for Raven units at Ebisu Heavy Industries, since given his ability he can contribute in studying them, impeding the ones in Japan who want them to be decommissioned. However Tatsuya doesn't want to leave the company after Melissa and Baxter had gone into a coma. Clara pushes his father to ask his old pals for help in avenging her mother but he doesn't want to bother them and decide to make do, meanwhile Lina tries to persuade Tatsuya in doing the same thing with her, but he is reluctant to kill someone else, even in such a case. Soon a new president is declared and he immediately assigns the third squad a dangerous mission in Balic in the South East, an island ruled by a monarchy opposed by the rebel party willing to bring back the previous republican system. Their task is to protect an oil company. Yusuf has convened by his father recently and Tatsuya isn't experienced enough for such a mission, but fortunately the prince comes back in time and Tatsuya insists on join them and he's accepted. Clara instead doesn't take part in it and meanwhile Kurz goes his own way.
In Balic operates an international coalition of armed forces to stop the hostilities but despite the rebel aren't well armed, only owning some Mistral 2, the war goes on. Furthermore US army deployed remote controlled AS in Anton site on the island but due to not being equipped with an artificial intelligence they can't discern allies fro enemies and sometimes they fight each others.
D.O.M.S. places its base at Tapori in southern Balic and their task is to escort a convoy along Lethe river in a dangerous part of the country. During the mission Ber talks briefly with someone by the phone and find out with anxiety that his interlocutor is the new attacked and the battle begins.
When opposed to a boy armed with an RPG Tatsuya hesitate and is hit but fortunately three M9A2 Gernsback Enhanced units (or XL-2 as rebel's captain the calls them) suddenly comes in aid. Seeing their equipment the rebels understand that the convoy is a ploy so they try to retreat but the new units defeat all of them. Reinforcement bring D.O.M.S. logo but third squad members didn't know the company owns such AS. The three pilots shows themself to the squad: they are Mikhailov and Sanjō siblings, moreover the terrorist is the new president of the company! Lina is sure that he is the bomber who hit her superiors and gets mad about this news and so does Tatsuya. Mikhailov explains that administrative committee of the company, which is his sponsor too, offered him the role and states that he didn't attacked Melissa. But Lina doesn't trust his words and leave the company.
Tatsuya decides to leave the company too and goes back to Japan to attend school but he doesn't tell his family the reason of this choice. Sad for the past events and unsure about his future, facing with his friend Kenji who wants to enter the business world, thinks maybe he shouldn't quit his job. Kirigaya meets with Shimomura in a restaurant and tells him that D.O.M.S. reported to him that Raven units has been lost in an accident and Mizorogi had vanished in the same event, so he ordered them to give back all the things left concerning the units but they refused, their contract being ceased, but they opposed. Moreover he learned that Robert Morgan, CEO of Geotron Electronics, acquired the company and that the actual president Mikhailov is the one who has repeatedly engaged Raven units. So Kirigaya suspect that Morgan and Mikhailov are in cahoots: they have stolen the units and kidnapped Mizorogi. He asks Shimomura if it's safe to involve Japanese Army in this matter but the colonel but says that D.O.M.S. an JA have a contract and it's better not to make the public know that now they are adverse. Kirigara than propose to engage Lina and Tatsuya to retrieve Rave units.
On new year's eve Lina goes to Japan to meet Tatsuya. Meanwhile in California Mikhailov is brought to a meeting organized by Morgan by a driver the CEO designated. The terrorist suspects that Morgan is trying to spying on his moves but during the ride and driver is killed by a sniper. The car is involved in an accident but Mikhailov survive, then he receive a phone call from Kurz who explains him that the dead man is the one who attacked his wife and tells him to warn Morgan that soon he will be punished for the assassination attempt. Judging by the tremendous ability required to shot from such a distance Mikhailov understands that the sniper must be Kurz Weber. Lina visit Ichinose house but there she finds only Yukari, she tells her where to find Tatsuya but begs her not to involve him in anything dangerous anymore. So when they meet Lina doesn't talk to Tatsuya about her plans regarding him.
At a later time she answer his question about the company: Melissa and Baxter is still in a coma, following the worsening of the mood lots of members quit, Carlos is still in the company due to financial issues and Clara has been entrusted Melissa's friends since Kurz's departure. She adds that Ber, Daniela, some veterans (including a man named Coolman) has created a new company supported by Yusuf. They already have been entrusted a mission from Japanese government through Kirigaya: bring back from D.O.M.S. the two Raven units and Mizorogi. So she asks him if he wants to join them and he replies being uncertain. She insists and while pondering in the last months she has fought to protect loved ones boosted by his presence. Finally Tatsuya accept her request and leaver the country with her.
In this last takōbon too a there are a brief summary about characters, mecha informations and a short chapter in which Yō tells us that the story continues in Fullmetal Panic! Another Sigma manga series.

In the first volume when Melissa is talking on the phone with Baxter about the incident at Hokuriku she looks at a photo of Kaname Chidori and Tessa Testarossa.
In the second volume when Tatsuya hears Lina talking about tough coach he remembers that he has heard that years ago Jindai's rugby team has been trained by a really tough coach who made it a truly savage team. He don't know it but that coach was Sōsuke Sagara.
In the sixth volume Kurz Weber appears, he is a recurring character in FMP! story and his daughter Clara refers to his old comrade in arms, members of Mithril. Finally during a fight in which Lina and Tatsuya take part with him he uses the call sign Uruz 7, the one he used as a member of Mithril.
